Development of the Romanian Network for Cancer Research
The Romanian Network for Cancer Research (RNCC) will establish a network to achieve collaboration in cancer research to gradually build a national corpus of theoretical, practical, and clinical knowledge, pluralistic in different areas of cancer research and methodologies, becoming thus a Knowledge Cancer ecosystem for the diffusion of best practices and roll-out of new actions for health care professionals, private sector, governmental bodies, and other authorized users, connected to the EU Mission Cancer and contributing to the implementation of the National Plan to Combat Cancer.
Two topics of research developed in RDI3 are in the line with directions of Horizon Europe: (1) research on rare or hard to treat cancers and design new advanced research tools for personalized therapy in these cancers, and (2) new algorithm for image/video interpretation and explainability of deep-learning algorithms for medical research studies.
