From cancer prevention and screening measures to personalized patient-centered strategies for certain adult and pediatric malignancies through a better understanding of disease determinants
By implementing this project we’ll find a risk score to better select subjects for LC screening and try to define new biomarkers for early detection of LC in correlation with LDCT.
Also collection, assessment and final diagnoses, including the data related to the cancer stage when detected in the context of the cancer screening provide data for further research.
We will also provide AI technology integration into existing CRC screening to develop accessible screening programmes in accordance with European guidelines with quality assurance adequate, timely, and complementary diagnostic procedures, treatments, psychological support and after-care to those individuals with a positive screening test; evidence-based and person-centered cancer screenings for the types of cancer listed in the Proposal of a COUNCIL RECOMMENDATION on strengthening prevention through early detection.
